Chad and martha met in papua new guinea in 2013.

Chad was building missionaries' houses. Martha came to visit her sister. They’re very thankful for her older sister's interest in their happily ever after. They were married 2½ years later and just finished missions training in June, 2016.

CHAD

I grew up in Papua New Guinea -- surrounded by unreached people groups and by missionaries. But my desire for missions grew on a trip back to Papua New Guinea after working construction in Chicago. I was reminded that God's heart is for the nations and having seen so clearly that the nations aren’t reached, I wanted to get in on that.

MARTHA

I first heard of unreached people groups in high school when I was introduced to dozens of letters written by these groups in Papua New Guinea begging for missionaries to come share God’s talk with them. My desire to do something about the millions who haven’t heard grew during college. After paying off a student loan while working in Atlanta I began training to church-plant with New Tribes Mission in 2013.

We love being part of the church: being Christ’s representation. God has been preparing us to be goers.

We’re excited to help bridge the chasm of culture and language separating so many from hearing about forgiveness and purpose. We’re going to do that in Papua New Guinea!
